Game Help | Travel Quest

Objective of the Game
The objective of the Travel Quest game is to collect photos of countries around the world. To accomplish this mission, you will travel across continents, explore iconic locations, and take on informative and entertaining challenges. Along the way, you will discover the cultural and geographical richness of each country while completing your image collection.
Miles
Miles are the 'fuel' that allows you to travel through countries around the world. Each move from one country to another has a cost in miles, which depends on your game level.
Mile Exchange
On the game's homepage, you have the option to send miles to your friends. Miles sent to your friends are not deducted from your own mile balance; it doesn't cost you anything. You can send a maximum of one shipment to the same friend every two hours. Every time you log into the game, you automatically receive the miles that have been sent to you.
How to Earn More Miles?
  • From your friends: Your friends can send you miles every two hours to help you in your travels.
  • Polo, our pigeon: Polo gives you miles every day during your first game login, allowing you to start each day with a boost.
  • 'Lost Sight' quests: By completing these quests, you can unlock virtual friends who send you miles every two hours.
  • By playing: You earn miles by completing quests, playing mini-games, completing collections, and visiting new countries.
  • Purchases at the Shop: If you need additional miles to travel further, you also have the option to purchase miles at the Shop.
World Map and Travel
The World Map
The world map is the starting point for your adventure in Travel Quest. It's from there that you move from one country to another. Each move can have multiple objectives: discovering a new country for the first time, finding items for your ongoing quests. You also have a small chance to win stamps, miles, or other bonuses with each move. The cost of moving from one country to another depends on the continents where these countries are located.
Travel Mode:
Travel mode is designed for busy travelers. After each trip, you automatically return to the World Map without going through the album page. This allows you to save time and explore more countries quickly. You can enable or disable travel mode by clicking on the corresponding icon on the world map:
Continent Mode:
Continent mode allows you to visit all countries in the same continent at once. To unlock this mode, you must have visited at least 40 countries. A checkbox allows you to visit only open countries, which can be useful for searching for Polotery tickets or quest items. Continent mode can be enabled or disabled by clicking on the corresponding icon on the world map:
Territory Mode
The 'Territory Mode' button allows you to view territories on the world map, which can be useful for visualizing the geography and distribution of these sites.
Compass
The compass is a handy tool that summarizes the last countries you visited, allowing you to easily track your route and not get lost in your adventure.
Photos
Photos in Travel Quest:
Each photo in the game is identified by a country and a unique number. You can only obtain photos from collections of countries you have already unlocked. Photos are categorized into three levels of rarity:
  • Rarity 1 (super rare)
  • Rarity 2 (rare)
  • Rarity 3 (more common)
You have a better chance of receiving a photo from the country where you are physically located. You can also exchange photos with your friends, which will help you complete your collections more quickly.
How to Get More Photos?
You can obtain photos in various ways:
  • Daily Login: Every day, during your first login, you receive a new photo.
  • Daily Bonus: The daily bonus offers additional rewards for regular and consecutive logins.
  • Visiting New Countries: When you visit a new country for the first time, you immediately receive 4 photos from that country.
  • Collections and Completed Countries: By completing a collection or finishing a country, you earn photos, including rare or super rare images.
  • Quests: Some quests reward you with photos.
  • Exchange with Friends: You can exchange duplicate photos with your friends, provided that you both have the same unlocked collections.
  • Casino and Polotery: Every week, you have a chance to win a rare image through Polotery, and every fifteen days through the Casino game.
  • Deal Island: You can obtain additional or missing images on Deal Island.
  • Advertisement Videos: You can earn photos by watching videos.
  • Game Fanpage: You can find images as gifts on the Official Game Fanpage.
  • Event Games: Small event games are regularly offered to win additional images.
  • Purchase at the Shop: You also have the option to buy photos at the Shop.
The Album
The album brings together all the photo collections organized by country. Images can be received in duplicate, and collections can be completed multiple times. When all collections in a country are completed, you receive a medal image: bronze, silver, or gold, along with a rare image, and you unlock a new collection if there is one. Once you have completed all collections in a country, you can redo the collections of the already completed country. This involves losing one copy of each image in the collection, but you earn points and progress in the game.
Collections of Countries
Each country you visit in Travel Quest has multiple photo collections. Two collections will be instantly unlocked when you visit the country for the first time. You will unlock a third collection by completing the first two collections of the country. Some countries have a fourth diamond collection, which can be discovered by completing the country.
Territories
Territories are independent and optional collections in the Travel Quest game. These collections allow you to explore specific regions of the world in detail, which do not necessarily correspond to the geography or borders of countries. By choosing to unlock Territories, you will start accumulating 'faines' every day, which are the specific currency of Territories. You will also earn additional 'faines' in mini-games and game actions. You will automatically unlock 8 Territories by activating this feature. Territories can be found on the world map by clicking on the 'Territory Mode' icon. To access a territory, you must have visited 20 'classic' countries in the game. Territory collections allow you to explore regions and specific areas of the world, outside the boundaries of traditional countries. They add an additional dimension to the gameplay of Travel Quest.
Secret Lands
Secret Lands are hidden in the game; it's up to you to unlock them! Secret Lands can be found in the 'Secret Lands' category on the Album page.

Countries Archived in Feather
Some countries have an updated version with reworked images. The old version of these countries can be found in the 'Feather Countries' section on the album page; they are somewhat archived. You will no longer receive images from Feather countries, except for certain challenges or when you complete Feather collections/countries.
Limited Editions
Polo regularly offers Limited Edition collections in the Travel Quest game. For seasonal collections (Summer, Autumn, etc.), you will receive an image from that collection during your first daily login during the season's period. You can also obtain Limited Edition images through various mini-games or by using the TIME EL ticket. Additionally, you have the option to exchange these images with your friends or purchase them at the Shop. When you complete a Limited Edition collection, you earn 15 seeds as a reward. Limited Edition collections can only be completed once. Limited Edition collections can be found in the 'Limited Editions' category on the game's Album page.
Completing Collections/Countries
When you have completed a collection or country, you must click the 'Complete' button to receive a bonus.
Medals
To obtain a medal in the Travel Quest game, you must complete a country, which means you have completed all collections in that country and clicked the 'Complete the country' button. Each country can earn you a maximum of 4 medals: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and in some cases, Diamond. To unlock the 4th collection of a country and thus be able to complete that country in Diamond, you must fulfill the following conditions:
  • Have completed the country in Gold.
  • Have received a postcard from the country from one of your friends.
Not all countries have a diamond collection; it will be a surprise when validated!
Closing a Country
Closing a country in Travel Quest offers several advantages and rewards.
Benefits of Closing: When you choose to close a country that you have completed in Gold, you enjoy the following benefits:
  • You will receive fewer images from this country in the game, allowing you to focus on other countries.
  • This country will no longer hide the Polotery ticket every week, increasing your chances of finding the ticket.
  • You automatically unlock the 4th collection of the country if it exists.
  • You can also access other benefits related to temporary games.
Conditions for Closure: To close a country, you must fulfill two conditions:
  • You must have completed all collections of that country in Gold.
  • You must have received a postcard from the country from one of your friends (or obtained it through Deal Island).
Diamond Collection: If the country has a 4th collection (Diamond collection), you automatically unlock it by closing the country in Gold. However, you can only close this country again if it is completed in Diamond.
Closed Countries: The countries you have closed will be listed in the 'Closed Countries' category on the Album page. They will have a different color on the World Map to indicate their closed country status.
Postcards
In Travel Quest, postcards are special items that are related to closing the countries you visit. You earn a postcard each time you complete a country. This postcard 'does not count' in your collection; only the postcards that your friends give you count in your collection. However, you can gift it to one of your friends. Only friends who have unlocked the respective country and have not yet received that postcard are potential recipients. Receiving a postcard from a country is a necessary condition to be able to close it. Postcards can be found in the 'Postcards' category on the Album page.
Seeds and Faines
Seeds and Faines are the two currencies of the game.
Seeds
Seeds are the main currency in the game. You can use them to purchase classic images and miles in the shop.
Faines
Faines are a specific currency that allows you to buy territory images. To obtain Faines, you must have chosen to unlock territories in the game.
How to Get Seeds and Faines?
  • You get them by completing a country (The gain increases if the country is completed in bronze, silver, or gold).
  • Every time you level up in the game, you earn a Seed.
  • You can obtain seeds through certain classic or adventure quests.
  • You can earn seeds and Faines in various mini-games.
  • You can purchase seeds or Faines at the bank.
  • You can earn seeds and Faines by watching videos.
Quests
Quests are an essential element of Travel Quest. They allow you to earn various rewards, including miles, additional photos, seeds, unlock new countries, and even get new virtual friends. Most quests unlock when you level up in the game. You can see at which level a new quest will be unlocked in Polo's bubble on the 'Quests' page. Here are the different types of quests you can encounter in the game:
Adventure Quests: These quests involve collecting specific items by visiting particular countries. By completing these quests, you earn rewards.
New Country Quests or New Destinations Quests: These quests allow you to make new countries visible on your world map. They broaden your horizons 😉
New Territory Quests: By completing these quests, you unlock new territories in the game. This allows you to explore specific regions of the world outside of traditional countries.
Lost and Found Quests: These quests ask you to find an animal by following clues around the world. Once you've found this animal, it becomes your 'virtual friend' and sends you miles every two hours.

Stamps
Stamps allow you to unlock adventure quests. To obtain them, you can post a stamp request on your journal or click on stamp requests from your friends. You can only post one stamp request per day and only if you have 'visible' quests to unlock. Stamps are valid for a specific season.
Stamps
Stamps are useful in discovery quests. You earn a stamp each time you visit or revisit a country. They are essential for progressing in some quests.

Challenges
Challenges allow you to earn images, seeds, Faines, and miles by completing objectives in the game. Examples of challenges:
  • 5,000 Miles Traveled
  • Visit 3 Different Countries
  • Log in for 13 Days
  • Give 10 duplicates to different friends
To view challenges, click on the 'Challenges' icon in the top menu.

Deal Island
Deal Island unlocks regularly in the game. When available, an island appears in the middle of your world map, and you will also see a corresponding icon in your left menu. On Deal Island, Polo offers you a trade that you can choose to accept or reject. The trade can be more or less favorable, so be vigilant! The deal involves images, miles, seeds, stamps, postcards, or even country polo shirts. It's an opportunity for you to earn resources and useful items for your adventure.
Mini-Games
Travel Quest offers a variety of mini-games and seasons to spice up your adventure.
Poloterie Ticket
To unlock the Poloterie ticket, you first need to collect Polo Scratchers. You can obtain them by posting on your journal, asking friends directly, or buying them with seeds. Once you have enough Polo Scratchers, you'll need to find the scratch ticket in a country on the world map. The 'crystal ball,' available in the shop, helps you get a hint about the country where the ticket is located. It's important to note that the ticket is always found in an unclosed country. If you have closed all countries in progress, you can scratch the ticket directly without needing to search while traveling from the world map. With the Poloterie ticket, you have a chance to win a rare image (worth 1 or 2) every week. You only have one week, from Monday morning to Sunday night, to collect your Polo Scratchers and scratch the ticket.
Casino
The Casino ticket is a scratch-off game where you must scratch stars to reveal your winnings. Each time you manage to find two identical winnings during the game, you win those prizes. This ticket is available twice a month and gives you the chance to win a rare image, seeds, and Faines.
Who Pair Wins
'Who Pair Wins' is a game of memory and reflexes. Here's how it works:
  • You have a limited number of moves to play.
  • The goal is to match as many pairs of identical images as possible.
  • Each time you form a pair of identical images, you win the reward depicted on the image.
  • Rewards can be miles, seeds, or Faines, depending on what is shown on the matched images.
Lotto
In the 'Lotto' game, you have the option to choose 3 or 4 numbers, and you can even get a bonus number with the help of your friends. The number drawing takes place in the evening, around midnight, so you collect your winnings the next day. Here's how the winnings work based on the number of correct numbers you have:
  • If you have 1 correct number, you win 10 seeds.
  • If you have 2 correct numbers, you win 50 seeds.
  • If you have 3 correct numbers, you win a nice reward of 400 seeds.
Calculos
'Calculos' is a game that tests your mental calculation skills. Here's how it works:
  • You'll need to solve as many mathematical operations as possible in the shortest amount of time.
  • The number of points you earn depends on how many operations you manage to solve.
  • If you score more than 4 points, you win a level 3 image and 1 Faine.
  • If you score more than 19 points, you win a level 2 image and 2 Faines.
  • If you score more than 28 points, you win a level 1 image and 3 Faines.
  • Be careful, giving a wrong answer will also deduct points.
Geopolo
'Geopolo' is a game that tests your geographical knowledge and speed. Here's how it works:
  • Polo asks you 5 questions, and for each question, you must choose the correct country and locate it on the world map.
  • Each correct answer earns you 5 points, but there are possible bonuses. You can get a +1 point bonus if you answer in less than 5 seconds and another +1 point bonus if you answer in less than 2 seconds.
  • The goal is to score as many points as possible by correctly answering Polo's questions.
Hangman
The 'Hangman' game is a classic game where you must guess a word by discovering which letters it contains. Here's how it works:
  • A word is chosen, based on a specified theme.
  • You must propose letters one at a time.
  • If the letter you propose is in the word, it will be revealed in its corresponding place.
  • If the letter you propose is not in the word, a part of the hangman drawing will appear progressively.
  • The goal is to guess the word before the hangman drawing is completed.
Mentalist
'Mentalist' is a deduction game. Here's how it works:
  • Polo thinks of a number between 0 and 100 and writes it on a piece of paper.
  • Your goal is to guess this number by making proposals.
  • With each proposal you make, Polo will give you a clue to help you get closer to the number in question. He'll tell you if his number is larger or smaller than what you proposed.
  • Using these clues, you'll need to refine your guesses until you manage to guess the exact number.
Polo Find-it
'Polo Find-it' is a hidden object game where you must search for and find 6 hidden objects in an image. The game features several images representing different countries worldwide, allowing you to discover details and interesting scenes from various regions. It's a game that stimulates your observation and search skills while virtually traveling the world.
Polongo
'Polongo' is a grid-based game where the goal is to fill grids with randomly drawn numbers. Here's how the game works:
  • At the beginning, you have the choice of two grids out of six different options.
  • Then, you can draw several numbered balls to fill your grid. The objective is to fill one or more rows of the grid with the drawn numbers.
  • If you manage to complete one or more rows of your grid, you win seeds and Faines as rewards.
The concept of 'Polongo' is similar to bingo, where players try to fill their cards with randomly drawn numbers to form winning lines.
Keldrapo
'Keldrapo' is a game where you have to select the correct flag of a country based on the provided descriptions. If you correctly guess the flag that matches the description, you win seeds and Faines as rewards.
Cartoon Suitcase
In 'Cartoon Suitcase,' you must choose one suitcase out of four of different sizes, just like three other pigeons. Here's how the game works:
  • Your goal is to choose a suitcase that has not been chosen by another player. If you choose the same suitcase as another pigeon, you lose.
  • However, if you are the only one to choose a suitcase, you win the image it contains as a reward.
  • There is an element of risk and reward in the game. The larger the suitcase you choose, the higher the potential reward. However, the risk that one of the other pigeons chooses it is also higher.
  • So, you have the choice to take risks by selecting a larger suitcase with a bigger reward, or play it safe by opting for a smaller suitcase. But there's no guarantee of success, as other players also make their choices.
TIME EL Ticket
The TIME EL Ticket, inspired by 'Back to the Future,' offers a chance to win Limited Edition images that are no longer distributed otherwise. To unlock the TIME EL ticket, you need to collect the 4 pieces of the ticket. Your friends can help you obtain them by clicking on your post in the journal. Once you have gathered the 4 pieces, you can scratch the ticket to win a Limited Edition image. The TIME EL ticket can also be found at any time while traveling on the World Map.
The Holiday Road
The goal is to reconstruct the correct combination of 5 flags. With each attempt, Polo tells you whether a flag is in the right place or not. You have 12 days to reconstruct the correct combination!
Crypt'Air
Try to decrypt the names of the 4 countries or capitals proposed by Polo. You have 2 hints per day (2 letters of the alphabet that you choose are "revealed"). Each letter corresponds to a specific symbol that helps you deduce the words to find. The game lasts for 7 days, and when you think you've guessed it all, choose the 4 countries from the drop-down lists at the bottom and validate. You win 3 seeds per country found + 1 seed for each remaining day (if all correct).
Case-Head
Solve a puzzle by making as few moves as possible!

Kelpays
Use tools to get clues and locate the right country. It's worth noting that the hints related to the area and population of countries are rounded to maintain a certain level of challenge in the game. The rewards you earn depend on the number of hints you use to find the correct state.
Maxi Seeds
This game allows you to win a maximum of seeds. Scratch the seed bag and discover your prize ;)

Pist'o'bons
For 16 days, you can find a new Voucher every day by traveling on the World Map. The Voucher is located in an unclosed country, and Polo will give you a hint to help you. If you have closed all countries, you will automatically receive a Voucher during your first daily connection. There are 4 sets of Vouchers to complete: SEEDS, STAMPS, MILES, and IMAGE. And thus, there are rewards to be had... You can track your Voucher search and view your hint by clicking on the left icon.
Ranking and Levels
The ranking and leveling system in the game is based on the number of points you accumulate. Here's how this system works: You earn points based on several factors, including the photos you own, the quests you have completed, the countries you have visited or revisited, the Poloterie tickets you have scratched, the countries you have closed, and more. Duplicate images are not counted in the points calculation. This means that only unique images you own contribute to your total points. By accumulating points, you advance to higher levels. This allows you to unlock new quests and challenges in the game. The level also affects the multiplier applied to the miles you receive.

Levels are defined by a number of points. You earn points based on the photos you own, the quests you have completed, the countries visited/revisited, the Poloterie tickets scratched, and the countries closed, etc. Duplicate images are not counted. Advancing levels allows you to unlock new quests and earn seeds.
Photo Exchange with Friends
To be able to exchange a photo with a friend, the image must be in a collection that both you and your friend have unlocked.
Requesting Images You Need: Gold Trades
From your album, you can choose up to 4 images that you particularly want by pressing the small "+" under the image. These images will be visible to your friends, who will have the option to send them to you directly from the "trades" page.

The 'Trades' Page
You can view and send the 'requested in gold' images directly from the exchange page by your friends. You can also send any image by clicking 'send a duplicate,' and you will see which friends have unlocked the collection corresponding to the image. Finally, you can start by selecting a friend from the 'send to a friend' button, and you will then see all the duplicates you can send to the selected friend.
The 'Direct Trades' Page
Another option for exchanging images is to use secure exchanges. This feature is located in the 'Direct Trade' menu (top left). Here's how it works: You select an image you want to obtain. Then, you choose one to three images that you offer in exchange. These images will be removed from your stock while the trade proposal is pending. When one of your friends accepts the direct trade, the images will be transferred automatically. You can participate in one direct trade per day.
The Shop
You can buy images and miles in exchange for seeds, or territory images in exchange for 'faines.' The draw of the photos you receive at the Shop is not entirely random: in each pack, there is a number of images you do not have, and a guaranteed number of rare images.
The Bank: Buying Seeds
What is the Bank?
Travel Quest is a free game, but if you wish to progress faster, you can buy seeds or 'faines.' You can then exchange these seeds for images and miles at the Shop. This also helps us fund the game's development.
How to get seeds?
If you are a minor, remember to ask your parents for permission before making a purchase. Once on the Bank page, you need to click on the seed pack that interests you.
